Magic plays out at the port of Alghero, where centuries of cultures blend into one. Shaped by Genoese beginnings and long Aragonese - Catalan rule, Alghero - L’Alguer - still carries a strong Catalan imprint in its language and fortifications. A street artist paints with natural materials: a home-made ink from red berries and ground quartz, with leaves and seawater, as if doing small alchemy under a work lamp. From 001 setting the scene, with the he semicircle of onlookers framing the painter and the lamp anchoring the eye, to 002 encapsulating the process, with a touch of motion recording the gesture, to 003 reducing to materials and light, background falls to black, leaving hands, paper, closing the story.
